2 cabins: 6 min to Casino, 14 to Smokies

Whittier, NC, United States

6 guests
3 bedrooms
2 bathrooms

Two tiny cabins on the same property, less than a minute apart but tucked out of view from each other. Together when you want to be, apart when you don't. Each cabin has its own kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, WiFi, TV, deck, and hammock. Cherokee Casino is 6 minutes away, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 14 minutes, and Bryson City and Sylva are each about 13. Best for casino trips, park days, and two-couple stays where everyone wants their own space.

Good to know

Pull up the gravel drive and the first cabin you'll see is Triple 7's. Drive a little farther around the curve and Ace in the Hole appears, tucked into its own spot. The two cabins are close enough to walk between in under a minute, but they don't look directly at each other. Both cabins have the same core setup: a queen bed, full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, and coffee maker, bathroom with shower, washer and dryer, WiFi, TV, and a deck with seating and a hammock. Ace in the Hole also has a loft with two twin mattresses, accessed by ladder. The loft has sloped ceilings and limited headroom, so it's best suited for kids or shorter adults. The ladder has a 300 pound weight limit. Triple 7's includes the grill. The kitchens are stocked for real cooking, not just reheating. Having a washer and dryer in each cabin makes a real difference on longer stays or after a day on the trails. This setup works especially well for two couples. Each cabin gets its own sleeping space, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, and morning routine, then everyone can meet up for casino plans, park days, or evening time outside. It gives you the breathing room of two separate stays without needing a large rental house.

Other Details to Note

Loft in Ace in the Hole: Accessed by ladder with a 300 lb weight limit. Two twin mattresses under sloped ceilings. Kids love it. Adults can use it, but the headroom is limited and it isn't a good fit for anyone tall. Not suitable for infants. Highway Proximity: Both cabins are right off Highway 441. You'll hear traffic from the decks and faintly inside. Most guests say it doesn't affect sleep.

Beautiful tiny homes, close to some great locations! Private, clean, cozy. Perfect location for our family to relax and have fun tubing down the river. Our kids loved the lofts and wanted to stay longer! The 2 beds in the main bedrooms of the homes were super comfy! Plenty of towels and blankets to use. Loved having a washer & dryer in the home as well! The wi-fi isn't the greatest per the kids 😅 I feel like it would have been fine had they not been trying to connect all their phones and x boxes at the same time! But, you're in the mountains, I was there to get away from that and relax so I was perfectly fine! Hosts were great with communication, even after check-out! We left an item in the house and thankfully they were able to find it and leave it out for us to swing by and pick up before we left the area to go back home. Will hopefully be back in the future!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your homes!!
