Tiny home: 6 min to Casino, 14 to Smokies
Whittier, NC, United States
A tiny home that guests keep telling us feels bigger than it looks. Full-size kitchen, queen bed, walk-in shower, and washer and dryer. Harrah's Cherokee Casino is 6 minutes away. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 14 minutes. Downtown Bryson City and Sylva are each about 13 minutes. Right off Highway 441, so you'll hear the road from the porch, but that's the tradeoff for being this close to everything. One guest said they didn't know why anyone would choose a hotel room over this.
Good to know
Lady Luck is a tiny home that keeps surprising people. Guests consistently say it's more spacious than they expected, and the full-size appliances (stove, oven, full fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker) are the main reason. It doesn't feel like a compromise. The queen bed is comfortable. Multiple guests have called it one of the best they've ever slept in, and there's a white noise machine on the nightstand. The bathroom has a full walk-in shower. The washer and dryer are inside the home, which makes a difference on longer stays or after a day on the trails. Outside there's a porch with seating and a yard. Morning coffee out there is a good way to start the day. The home sits right off Highway 441, which is what makes the drive times so short: • Harrah's Cherokee Casino: 6 minutes • Great Smoky Mountains National Park: 14 minutes • Downtown Bryson City: 13 minutes • Downtown Sylva: 13 minutes • Sequoyah National Golf Club: 5 minutes Most guests use Lady Luck as a base camp. Head to the casino or the park during the day, come back to something clean and quiet at night. One couple liked it so much they got engaged here!
Other Details to Note
• Highway Proximity: The home is right off Highway 441. You'll hear traffic from the porch and faintly inside. A white noise machine is provided in the bedroom. This is also why the drive times to everything are so short. • Parking: The home has its own driveway. Gravel, mostly flat. Easy to pull in and out. • Designed for Two: This home is built for two guests. Not suitable for children or infants. • Bed: The mattress is on the softer side. Most guests love it; a few prefer something firmer. Worth knowing before you book.
